Nutty O brings his global rollout to Wolverhampton for UK album launch
Zimbabwean music is taking over Wolverhampton again as Nutty O brings his UK album launch to The Hangar on Saturday 30 August 2026, and this time it's his turn to make history on that stage.
Five years after his debut album Mustard Seed, Nutty O is preparing to release his second full length project. While Mustard Seed was about growth and starting out, this new album represents the next step. Nutty O has spent more than a decade building his career beyond Zimbabwe. His breakthrough single Kwandabva Kure received airplay on BBC 1Xtra. He has also reached charts in Norway, while songs like Kokai and Handipere Power have gained millions of streams and won multiple Song of the Year awards. His journey from Mbare to global stages isn’t just a story. It's the result of consistency, patience and an endless pursuit of growth, the values behind Ability Xtention (ABX). They're exactly why fans across borders keep showing up for him.
Nutty O was present for EXQ’s Rhaka Rhaka album launch at The Hangar, a night that stood out for Zimbabwean music in the diaspora. Now he returns to the same stage, this time leading his own moment. Read how that night unfolded here: EXQ Makes History with Rhaka Rhaka UK Album Launch
The launch also brings together a strong lineup of Zimbabwean artists, reinforcing the sense of community behind the culture. Supporting artists include Atenda Chinx, performing in the UK for the first time, alongside Madedido, Freeman HKD, DJ Tamuka, Gemma Griffiths, EXQ and Shinsoman. The lineup reflects the strength of the community and how connected Zimbabwean music is today.
Zimbabwean music continues to move forward, and Nutty O remains at the centre of that momentum.
